To help AMBI Health introduce their innovative anxiety-reducing wearable, MoodBud I, we designed a short animation that visualizes how the device functions, despite having no screen, sound, or traditional interaction. The device works by emitting light and adjusting temperature to reduce anxiety, so we needed a metaphor that captured emotional tension and relief in a clear, elegant way.
I conceptualized stress as jagged, glass-like shards growing inside the body, representing inner turmoil. MoodBud I appears mid-scene and begins dissolving the glass through a warm, glowing energy, gently restoring calmness. The animation closes with shots of the charging station and monitoring app, introducing the product’s complete system.
The visuals were carefully balanced between abstract and literal, combining a minimal aesthetic with a soft lighting palette to communicate comfort, clarity, and innovation.
